Supply Planner

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking a Supply Planner to configure planning systems, create master production schedules and manage inventory across its distribution network. The role supports cost‑efficiency, reduces unsaleable product and ensures accurate supply for the co‑op’s manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

• Define daily finite production schedules, including changeovers, sequencing and sanitation requirements.
• Establish plant capacity rates and calendars and communicate attainment to planning teams.
• Maintain and achieve the master production plan in collaboration with the corporate Senior Supply Planner.
• Facilitate cross‑functional meetings to align on plan development and execution.
• Lead inventory management activities such as cycle counting, physical inventory planning and WMS/Red Prairie maintenance.
• Manage material disposition, new product introductions, inventory turn targets, warehouse capacity analysis and FIFO/LIFO processes.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing or plant supply chain.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Understanding of inventory strategies such as LIFO and FIFO.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using SAP for inventory management.
