Supply Officer II

About the role

Airbus Aerosystems is seeking a Supply Officer II to manage material flow for its Kinston, North Carolina facility. The role serves as the primary logistics contact for ordering, planning and issue resolution of direct‑ordered material, supporting the production of advanced composite aerostructures for the Airbus A350 XWB.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast demand, generate purchase orders and coordinate material deliveries to meet production schedules.
• Act as the first point of contact for logistics, handling ordering, planning and any logistical issues.
• Manage a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring clear communication of requirements to both suppliers and internal customers.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply chain disruptions proactively.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus processes and procedures (e.g., FU.SD.02).

Required profile

• Strong understanding of supply chain, procurement and logistics operations.
• Excellent relationship‑building and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to on‑time, on‑quality delivery.
