Supply Chain Planning Specialist – Multiple US Locations

About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support Parts and Services Sales Representatives across several U.S. locations. The role focuses on forecasting, inventory management, and ensuring parts availability for both existing and new equipment fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the parts forecasting process by comparing CRM opportunity data with demand forecasts.
• Utilize the Strategic Stock tool to maintain inventory levels for unexpected equipment failures based on fleet size and age.
• Support parts planning for new customers, new parts portfolios, and new machine models.
• Monitor and meet targets for revenue growth, on‑time delivery, warehouse stock turns, and networking capital.
• Identify inventory policy deviations, propose mitigation plans, and follow escalation procedures.
• Manage replenishment of consignment stock and review return requests for compliance.
• Consolidate parts forecasts (maintenance kits, major components) at the customer level and hold PSSRs accountable for forecast accuracy.
