Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner ensures that inventory levels meet demand across locations, SKU groups and distribution centers. You will coordinate purchasing, replenishment, and production sequencing while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full‑goods inventory levels for assigned areas using BY Planning Modules and achieve in‑stock targets.
• Create optimized replenishment loads (purchased or DRP) to minimize logistics costs.
• Collaborate with demand, DC, and operations teams on new product roll‑outs, promotional packaging, and holiday inventory planning.
• Monitor inventory and warehouse capacity, initiate product movements to avoid stock‑outs, over‑stock, and expiry issues.
• Report on close‑dated inventory and work to reduce breakage, damage and loss (BDL).
• Prepare and sequence weekly production schedules and communicate with assigned plants.
• Manage vendor brands and lead times to sustain proper inventory levels.
• Maintain daily SAP release/schedule production orders and keep PP/MRP profiles up‑to‑date.
• Analyze line capacity and coordinate alternative sourcing when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, industrial engineering or analytical roles.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort with advanced mathematical concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP (ECC) and BY.
