Supply Chain Planner

About the role

Jacmel, a leading jewelry and accessories manufacturer, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join its New York headquarters. The role focuses on coordinating demand, purchasing, and inventory activities to ensure seamless product flow across retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Review MRP recommendations for all product categories and generate requisitions for the Purchasing team.
• Oversee the Purchasing team, including PO creation, order confirmation, price and delivery approval, and PO expediting.
• Manage the Packaging and Accessory category: forecast usage, create blanket stock orders, and monitor consumption.
• Analyze inventory levels at all locations, optimize active items, and address obsolete stock.
• Communicate with Sales and Distribution teams on delivery‑related issues.
• Generate sales projections for smaller retail accounts and develop production plans to support replenishment.
• Conduct systematic reviews of finished‑goods inventory, identify overstock opportunities, and ensure proper coding for management review.
• Validate Bills of Materials for accuracy and implement changes during production.

Required profile

• Experience in consumer goods or related manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work on‑site in New York City.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
