Supply Chain Planner II – Intermediates Team

About the role

Join BASF’s Intermediates team in Geismar, LA as a Supply Chain Planner II. You will be a key resource in the regional supply chain organization, responsible for inventory and supply planning across domestic production, tolling, and imports.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional supply chain optimization and S&OP activities for the Amines product portfolio.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional Product Management and Supply Chain groups to develop production and purchase plans that meet service, inventory, and efficiency targets.
• Analyze data and participate in projects that address specific supply chain improvement opportunities.
• Drive collaboration with operations, product management, commercial leadership, and other internal functions to enhance customer relationships.
• Adapt and learn additional supply chain functions to support overall organization success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, business management, manufacturing, or related functions (preferred).
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of modern supply chain management concepts.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SAP or a comparable ERP system.
