Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Ainsley Search Group is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead S&OP, materials planning, purchasing and logistics for a global manufacturer in the Greater Philadelphia area. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee a team of planners, logistics specialists and purchasers to streamline the SIOP process across warehouses, 3PL partners and production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Supply Chain team (Logistics, Purchasing, Production Scheduler, Inventory) to align material flows with demand forecasts.
• Develop and implement a SIOP process to improve forecast accuracy, inventory planning and production scheduling.
• Optimize raw and finished‑goods inventory KPIs and safety‑stock strategies.
• Manage overseas and domestic vendors, monitor KPI metrics such as backorder ratio, delivery time and quality, and drive root‑cause improvements.
• Collaborate with 3PL providers on import, export and domestic shipments, identifying cost‑effective routes.
• Support vendor sourcing, negotiations, contract renewals and new product development.
• Oversee external warehouses, qualify new locations and enhance order‑fulfillment lead times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Recent experience as a Planning Manager, Supply Chain Manager or S&OP Manager, preferably in specialty chemicals, specialty materials or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Hands‑on leadership ability with experience motivating teams.
• Proven track record managing overseas and domestic vendors, multiple plants and external logistics networks.
