Supply Chain & Logistics Summer Internship (2027)

About the role

Alcon is offering a 10‑12‑week full‑time summer internship in Supply Chain & Logistics for 2027. Interns will work onsite in Fort Worth, TX, gaining hands‑on experience on real projects that support Alcon’s mission to help people see brilliantly.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze transportation, freight and carrier‑performance data to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Build logistics dashboards, KPI reports and operational scorecards for planning and distribution decisions.
• Support demand and supply planning, new‑product launches, inventory performance and master‑data governance.
• Contribute to warehouse modernization, network optimization, transportation procurement and carrier‑management initiatives.
• Automate supply‑chain planning workflows and apply analytics, AI or machine‑learning techniques to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations research, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0.
• Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities or projects.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Available for a full‑time 10‑12‑week summer internship.
