Supply Chain Coordinator – Operations Support

About the role

Corpac Steel is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join its Operations Team. This full‑time, on‑site position offers recent graduates or early‑career professionals direct exposure to international trade, steel manufacturing, and large‑scale project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply‑chain activities with suppliers, mills, freight carriers, warehouses and customers.
• Track purchase orders, production schedules, inventory levels and material deliveries.
• Assist with freight coordination, trucking logistics and shipment scheduling.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation such as sales orders, purchase orders, packing lists, shipping documents and inventory records.
• Communicate with internal departments (sales, purchasing, accounting, operations) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Review purchase‑order confirmations and contracts, monitor order status and flag potential delays.
• Enter data and generate reports using ERP systems, spreadsheets and internal tracking tools.
• Maintain organized records and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Participate in special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, Metals/Manufacturing or related field).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
