Supply Chain Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Consultant to partner with leading manufacturers on strategic transformation initiatives. The role involves advising C‑level executives, designing technology‑enabled solutions, and driving end‑to‑end implementation of best‑in‑class supply chain platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with CXO and senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and present consulting offerings.
• Lead supply chain consulting engagements independently, managing delivery across multiple organizational levels.
• Define transformation strategies, target operating models, and implementation roadmaps aligned with client goals.
• Conduct business process assessments, requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and process harmonization.
• Recommend and design solutions leveraging leading COTS platforms and ERP systems.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, develop business cases, and convert engagements into qualified transformation initiatives.
• Support go‑to‑market activities, including proposal creation and pre‑sales support.
• Develop reusable consulting assets, frameworks, and accelerators to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on large‑scale digital transformation programs.
• Travel extensively (up to 75%) based on client engagement requirements.

Required profile

• Strong domain expertise in supply chain functions such as supply planning, procurement, distribution, and order management.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing sector, including automotive, aerospace, industrial or process manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience as a Solution Architect or Functional Consultant for leading COTS supply chain solutions.
• Functional knowledge of major ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Delivered at least two end‑to‑end COTS implementations covering design, configuration, testing and UAT.
• APICS certifications (CSCP, CLTD, CPIM) are highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and manage stakeholder expectations.
