Supply Chain Associate – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support procurement and logistics operations for its Washington Global Office, sub‑offices, and the IOM Office at the United Nations in New York. Working under the Senior Supply Chain Coordinator and Senior Supply Chain Associate, you will collaborate with headquarters and administrative centers to ensure efficient supply chain management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement functions for the Washington Global Office, its sub‑offices, and the IOM Office at the UN in New York.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal units to fulfill resource requirements.
• Support asset‑management processes and maintain compliance with IOM/UN procurement rules.
• Prepare clear and concise procurement reports for senior staff.
• Assist in establishing realistic resource plans to meet operational needs.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or a high‑school diploma with relevant experience.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in procurement and logistics (or five years with a high‑school diploma).
• Experience working with IOM/UN procurement rules and in an international organization is an advantage.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; additional languages are a plus.
