Supplier Business Manager – B3

About the role

The Supplier Business Manager (B3) leads projects and provides tactical procurement support for assigned supplier sites. Reporting to the Supplier Account Manager, the role ensures execution of supplier and commodity strategies while driving cost, quality and capacity initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Project Management: lead projects assigned by the Supplier Account Manager to execute the TCQC Supplier strategy and commodity strategy.
• Tactical Resolution: drive resolution of supply‑chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead‑time for assigned supplier sites and sub‑tiers.
• Supplier Site Support: provide tactical procurement escalation support for assigned supplier sites.
• Cost: support commercial and technical cost‑reduction programs.
• Capacity: execute supplier‑site capacity‑readiness programs.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in the discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Understands best practices, market competition and how the function integrates with others.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small projects with manageable risk.
• Solves complex problems using judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Communicates difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus.
