Supplier Account Management III

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Supplier Account Management III to act as a strategic relationship manager for key suppliers supporting semiconductor and advanced display manufacturing. You will partner with internal stakeholders to drive sourcing, procurement, and supplier performance across multiple commodity categories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans, owning supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, delivery, and lead‑time targets.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements that form the basis of all business relationships with suppliers.
• Lead supplier Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support spend‑management projects, including savings, supplier consolidation, risk reduction, and visibility of expenditures.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify new capabilities and onboard new suppliers.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement with a solid understanding of commodity strategies.
• Strong business acumen, knowledge of best practices, and awareness of market competition.
• Leadership ability to mentor less‑experienced colleagues and lead small‑scale projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, capable of analyzing complex information to make sound judgments.
