Supervisory Property Disposal Specialist

About the role

The Supervisory Property Disposal Specialist implements reverse logistics solutions, managing the flow of excess property from declaration to disposition while ensuring value recovery or compliant disposal. The role advises agencies on disposal policies and collaborates with customers to meet short‑ and long‑term requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute cost‑effective flow of spare materials, in‑process inventory, and related information.
• Advise and guide agencies on interpretation and use of disposal policies.
• Collaborate with customers to determine requirements and refine disposal processes.
• Evaluate unique constraints of Military Commands and recommend appropriate actions.
• Demonstrate capabilities of newly automated disposal methods and operational techniques.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
• One year of specialized experience in property disposal, reutilization, transfer, donation, sales, abandonment, or destruction.
• Experience monitoring supplies/services, analyzing performance measures, and developing improvement solutions.
• Completion of Supervisory Certification Program and ability to meet overseas physical requirements.
