Supervisor, Media Planning

About the role

We are seeking a Supervisor, Media Planning to join our MissionOne Media Planning team at BarkleyOKRP in Kansas City. In this full‑time hybrid role you will own key client relationships, develop strategic and tactical media recommendations, and collaborate across internal teams and client partners.

Key responsibilities

• Ownership of a key client list, leading day‑to‑day media communication and internal project management.
• Develop strategic and tactical media recommendations, selecting channels and tactics aligned with client objectives.
• Manage a team of media planners, balancing delegation and support.
• Train junior partners on media planning approach, processes and tools.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (client experience, activation, data & analytics, CRM, strategy, finance).
• Build strategic media audiences using third‑party syndicated tools (MRI‑Simmons, Resonate, YouGov Profiles) to inform audience recommendations.
• Leverage competitive intelligence tools to identify category white space and guide media strategy.
• Ensure flawless execution and delivery of media plans.
