Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer X-Plant (2nd Shift)

About the role

The X‑Plant Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor leads the 2nd‑shift engineering team at Airbus' Mobile facility. The role ensures timely execution of technical analysis, part ordering, work order creation and OSW analysis to support X‑Plant production and flight‑line milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities of the X‑Plant Manufacturing Engineering (M.E.) team within the assigned business area.
• Launch and track corrective actions, ensuring closure of critical issues.
• Provide technical analysis, manage part ordering, create work orders and perform OSW analysis.
• Lead and develop the M.E. team, ensuring competence and skill‑set proficiency.
• Maintain effective communication with X‑Plant MFT, leadership and broader FAL teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within an aerospace or high‑tech production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team on a shift basis.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize operational deliverables.
