Supervisor I, Warehouse & Distribution Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Supervisor I to lead its Warehouse & Distribution Management team at the Johns Creek, GA Distribution Center. This on‑site, second‑shift position (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm EST) focuses on ensuring efficient warehouse operations, safe material handling, and timely product distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a team of associates to complete daily tasks and follow standard operating procedures.
• Make real‑time decisions on task assignments, workflow optimization, and storage space utilization.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with cross‑functional departments, and manage inbound, cross‑docking, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
• Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and maintain GxP compliance.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse or distribution teams.
• Strong understanding of GxP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to manage performance, engage employees, and drive talent development.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of warehouse management processes (receiving, cross‑docking, storage, picking, packing, shipping).
• Familiarity with GxP compliance and SOP documentation.
