Supervisor de Instrumentación

About the role

The Instrumentation Supervisor will lead the maintenance program for critical instrumentation at the Cobre Panamá site. This on‑site position ensures safety, technical compliance, and operational reliability of all instrumentation assets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial instrumentation systems.
• Ensure field work follows technical procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate activities with operations, mechanical, electrical, and reliability teams.
• Provide technical support for diagnosing and resolving critical equipment failures.
• Validate work orders, technical reports, and maintenance records.
• Monitor operational indicators and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead the instrumentation technical team, promoting best practices and safety culture.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in industrial instrumentation, with a minimum of 2 years supervising field maintenance teams.
• Experience maintaining critical equipment in industrial or mining environments.
• Valid driver’s license and strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
