Summer Associate (2027) – 2L Law Students

About the role

Lippes Mathias is seeking rising 2L law students for its 2027 Summer Associate Program. The position provides an immersive, hands‑on legal experience that mirrors the work of new associates.

Key responsibilities

• Handle challenging assignments comparable to those given to new associates.
• Attend depositions, mediations, deal closings, client meetings, trials, and professional events.
• Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, pleadings, and other documents.
• Support attorneys across a variety of practice areas and contribute to client matters.

Required profile

• Outstanding academic credentials with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Current enrollment and good standing at an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Positive, solution‑oriented attitude and commitment to a collegial firm culture.
• Appreciation for diverse ideas and experiences.

Required skills
