Summer 2027 SRM Internship – Supervision & Risk Management

About the role

This 10‑week Summer 2027 internship in the Supervision and Risk Management (SRM) division offers hands‑on experience supporting Federal Reserve bank examinations and risk analysis. Interns work on both quantitative and qualitative projects, contributing directly to the safety and soundness of the banking system.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on bank examinations by conducting financial analysis and reviewing compliance with consumer‑protection laws and regulations.
• Evaluate statutory and other relevant factors for bank applications.
• Provide recommendations for improving internal websites and automated tools.
• Prepare and present oral and written findings to Federal Reserve Bank management.

Required profile

• Undergraduate students graduating between May 2027‑May 2028 or current graduate students in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem‑solving, initiative, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
