- Pursue business development opportunities, including new pursuits and deeper relationships with the utility client.
- Set up and enforce project controls, contract compliance and quality standards, lead post-project audits and lessons-learned reviews.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, project teams, subcontractors and support personnel.
- Champion portfolio-wide risk management processes and escalate risks to senior leadership when needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Construction Management or another relevant field.
- 8+ years of progressive project management experience in the utility industry, preferably as a Project Manager at an electric utility or utility consulting company.
- Demonstrated experience with US electric utilities and a thorough understanding of electric power and infrastructure projects.
- Direct experience with electric power infrastructure projects, with substation project experience (design, construction and/or commissioning) strongly preferred.
- Supervisory experience including team building and talent acquisition.
- Ability to travel periodically as required.
Required skills
- Portfolio management and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Nice to have: PMP certification or willingness to obtain it within two years, leadership experience, cross-functional team leadership, PowerBI or visualization tools.
Pay range: $92,300 - $166,850.
