Substation Construction Supervisor

About the role

This position is a hands‑on field leadership role with a leading renewable‑energy organization. The Substation Construction Supervisor will oversee greenfield and battery‑energy‑storage projects across the United States, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance while traveling 100% to onsite locations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and supervise daily construction activities at renewable‑energy project sites.
• Lead field crews, contractors, and subcontractors to meet project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate between construction teams, site leadership, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, conduct field inspections, and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Enforce safety protocols, PPE requirements, and site‑specific procedures.
• Address site challenges proactively and promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Experience working on renewable‑energy substations (solar, wind, or battery storage).
• Background in electrical construction with medium‑voltage (MV) systems.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities in a fast‑paced field environment.
• Willingness to travel 100% and maintain a strong onsite presence.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards, and continuous learning.
