Study Abroad Coordinator

About the role

The Study Abroad Coordinator supports UCF Global’s mission to expand international mobility by managing provider‑partner and faculty‑led programs, guiding students through the entire study‑abroad journey, and ensuring smooth program operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with faculty and staff to design, develop, and grow study‑abroad opportunities.
• Serve as primary contact for faculty, handling questions from program conception to post‑program debrief.
• Communicate with external providers, host universities, hotels, and tour operators to collect pricing and proposals.
• Develop and revise program budgets, negotiate invoices, and maintain financial records.
• Advise students via walk‑in appointments and email, guiding them from interest through application, decision, and confirmation.
• Oversee application processing, student communications, and program assessment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in study‑abroad, international education, faculty‑led programs, or related experiential learning initiatives.
• Proven ability to advise students and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience using databases, application‑management systems, CRM platforms, or student information systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer‑service orientation, and organizational abilities.
