Student Teaching Assistant – Pharmacy Courses

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Student Employee to serve as a Teaching Assistant for College of Pharmacy courses. This temporary position supports the new first‑year PharmD curriculum and offers a chance to develop leadership skills while helping peers succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide constructive feedback on assignments and assist with grading.
• Support student success through tutoring and supplemental instruction.
• Assist in developing course materials and learning resources.
• Facilitate active‑learning activities in the classroom.
• Proctor examinations and support laboratory activities.

Required profile

• Current enrollment in UAMS College of Pharmacy or another college program.
• Selection as a Student Employee/Teaching Assistant by the department.
