About the role

The Student Employee/Teaching Assistant supports learning in the College of Pharmacy, helping deliver the new first‑year PharmD curriculum and assisting fellow students in succeeding academically.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide constructive feedback on assignments and assist with grading.
  • Support student success through tutoring, supplemental instruction, and active‑learning activities.
  • Assist in developing course materials and learning resources.
  • Proctor examinations and help with laboratory activities.

Required profile

  • Current enrollment in UAMS College of Pharmacy or another college program.
  • Selected as a Student Employee/Teaching Assistant by the department.
