Student Services Specialist

About the role

The Student Services Specialist provides essential support to current University of Arkansas System employees, student employees, and graduate assistants by managing Workday job postings and assisting with the application process. This role ensures smooth navigation of the Workday platform and delivers timely assistance to students seeking employment within the university.

Key responsibilities

• Guide students and staff through the Workday login and "Find Jobs" process.
• Maintain and update job postings, ensuring accurate closing dates and application statuses.
• Assist applicants with draft submissions and troubleshoot any technical issues.
• Coordinate with the Finance Student Services Administration department to align student employment records.
• Provide clear communication regarding application deadlines and required documentation.

Required profile

• Current enrollment or recent graduation from a university program.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedural guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with university policies and student employment processes.

Required skills

• Workday (experience navigating and supporting users).
