Student Orientation Leader (Temporary)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking enthusiastic students to serve as Extra Help/Orientation Leaders. In this temporary, part‑time role you will represent the campus, welcome incoming students, and help create a positive first‑day experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a friendly ambassador for the university during campus tours and orientation events.
• Provide accurate information about campus resources, academic programs, and student life.
• Assist with customer‑service inquiries from prospective and new students.
• Deliver short presentations and answer questions in a clear, engaging manner.
• Collaborate with the TTAC department and other staff to ensure smooth event operations.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as a degree‑seeking student at UA Little Rock (freshman‑senior).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at the time of application.
• Legal eligibility to work up to 20 hours per week in the United States.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate orientation dates and campus events.
