Student Employee – Clinical Support (Temporary)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is hiring current University of Arkansas System students to work as student employees in the IT Client Services – Campus Projects department. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides clinical and administrative support to help deliver high‑quality patient care and campus services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day clinical and medical ancillary tasks as directed.
• Support IT client services by responding to user inquiries and helping with campus project initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assigned duties.
• Provide courteous service to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Participate in training sessions and follow UAMS policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Enrolled student of the University of Arkansas System.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work the designated temporary schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
