Student Community Manager (Remote)

About the role

GRAI is a pre‑launch music‑tech startup focused on building the social layer of music discovery. As a Student Community Manager you will create and scale the company’s campus presence across U.S. universities and high schools, turning each campus into a vibrant hub for the app.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the framework for partnering with universities, colleges and high schools.
• Identify and map influential student groups (Greek life, sports, music orgs, student radio, party promoters) and engage their leaders.
• Recruit, contract, onboard and motivate a network of student ambassadors.
• Drive on‑ground activations such as campus parties, sticker/QR drops, quizzes and other experiential events.
• Maintain relationships with student organizations, university administrators and other authorities.
• Collect feedback from students to inform product and marketing teams.
• Document a repeatable playbook to scale the program to additional campuses.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling a student, creator or ambassador program.
• Strong outbound communication skills – comfortable with cold DMs, calls, and in‑person outreach.
• Operational mindset: can manage contracts, trackers, payouts and follow‑ups.
• Deep knowledge of current music trends and campus culture.
• Based in the United States and willing to travel to campuses.
