About the role

The Student Community Assistant supports the property management team at Cheatham Street Flats in achieving occupancy and resident satisfaction goals. This on‑site position blends administrative, leasing, and customer‑service tasks while providing valuable experience in residential real‑estate operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform office administration such as copying, filing resident files, preparing notices, and handling resident calls.
• Assist with leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, and show apartments.
• Generate lease paperwork, organize lease files, and support move‑in/move‑out processes, including mandatory “turn” dates.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments, and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach.
• Coordinate resident events, distribute communications, and manage resident surveys and notices.
• Serve as after‑hours liaison, responding to emergencies and covering at least one on‑call shift per week.

Required profile

• Enrolled student or recent graduate seeking experience in property management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Required skills
