Structural Superintendent – Data Center

About the role

The Structural Superintendent will lead all structural field operations for a hyperscale data center project in Boyce, LA. This role combines hands‑on supervision of steel erection, concrete foundations and other superstructure activities with close coordination of engineers, owners and trade partners to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget goals.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate structural steel erection, concrete placement, rebar, embeds, tilt panels, precast elements and anchor systems.
• Develop and manage site logistics plans for cranes, rigging paths, laydown areas and material deliveries.
• Lead daily coordination meetings, lift planning, crane picks and sequencing with subcontractors.
• Conduct safety briefings, enforce OSHA and client‑specific safety standards, and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure structural quality through bolt tensioning, weld inspections, concrete testing and alignment verification.
• Maintain accurate as‑built documentation, redlines and revision logs.
• Participate in CPM schedule development, short‑term look‑ahead planning and recovery strategy implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading structural field operations on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and hyperscale data‑center safety requirements.
• Ability to mentor junior superintendents and foster effective team communication.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to adapt to aggressive project schedules.
