Structural Engineer (PE) – Commercial Steel Design

About the role

Join a collaborative engineering team focused on commercial steel design in Dallas, TX. As a Structural Engineer (PE) you will work hands‑on with the Grapeland, TX team, delivering high‑quality structural solutions while growing toward senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design steel structures, develop connections, and perform load calculations.
• Provide commercial structural design support within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other structural software.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in commercial steel design (joist background a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Texas PE preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with RISA or comparable software preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Salary starting at $115,000 per year, based on experience.
