Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for experienced strategy consultants to help shape the next generation of AI systems. As a freelance, remote contributor you will translate real consulting engagements into structured learning environments that train large‑language models to reason like senior advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic consulting project scenarios, including industry context, financial data, constraints, and ambiguous inputs.
• Create discrete, structured tasks for AI agents such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy, operational diagnosis and benchmarking.
• Develop grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics and golden‑answer solutions to calibrate an LLM‑based assessment system.
• Collaborate with the AI‑training team to ensure the fidelity of the simulated engagements and maintain high quality standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on project experience at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems into analytical work‑plans.
• Experience building financial models, market analyses and synthesising findings from messy data.
• Track record of delivering client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines and defending them under uncertainty.

Required skills

What we offer

• Fully remote, project‑based freelance contract.
• Opportunity to influence how AI learns high‑level business reasoning.
• Flexible schedule and collaboration with a growing team of elite consultants.
