Strategy Consultant - AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for experienced strategy consultants to help shape AI training environments that mimic real‑world consulting engagements. This freelance, remote position involves designing realistic project scenarios, breaking them into structured tasks, and creating evaluation rubrics for AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed consulting project scenarios, including industry context, financial data, constraints, and ambiguous inputs.
• Design discrete consulting tasks (e.g., market sizing, cost optimization, growth strategy) that reflect actual consulting work.
• Define grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics, and golden‑answer solutions for each task to train LLM‑based assessment tools.
• Collaborate with the AI team to ensure the scenarios align with the overall training pipeline.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at a top‑tier firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, build financial models, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Experience presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic synthesis.
• Ability to work independently and meet project milestones.
