Strategic Relationship Leader – Construction Commercial Insurance

About the role

Zurich North America is seeking a Strategic Relationship Leader to drive growth and retention for construction‑focused commercial insurance customers across the West Region. You will partner with senior executives, brokers, and internal underwriting, claims, and risk engineering teams to deliver innovative risk solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategist for a portfolio of high‑value construction customers and prospects.
• Build trusted relationships with C‑suite executives, risk managers, and broker partners.
• Develop and execute engagement strategies that increase retention and profitability.
• Lead executive business reviews, stewardship meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
• Coordinate internal resources across underwriting, claims, risk engineering, and service to ensure seamless delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relationship management experience in commercial insurance.
• Significant construction‑focused insurance experience, including underwriting or brokerage exposure.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans and influence C‑suite stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.
• Experience with underwriting platforms such as Guidewire, PolicyCenter, and Power BI.
