Strategic Account Activation Lead – South

About the role

The Strategic Account Activation Lead is a senior sales leader responsible for building and maintaining profitable relationships with strategic accounts, primarily group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and corporate accounts within the Animal Health business. The role acts as the bridge between C‑suite strategy, regional leadership, and field execution to drive sales results across a multi‑state territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strong relationships with strategic account stakeholders at regional and field levels.
• Serve as the conduit between C‑suite strategic account activation, regional leadership, and field sales teams.
• Translate corporate strategy into actionable sales plans and results with area teams.
• Accelerate occupancy and sales of key Animal Health products and support pull‑through activities.
• Ensure the company’s Animal Health portfolio is positioned as valuable and innovative.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, Strategic Account Managers, and territory representatives.
• Leverage analytics to uncover growth opportunities and drive accountability.
• Utilize market insights to strengthen the company’s industry leadership.

Required profile

• Residence near a major US airport to meet 50‑60% travel requirements.
• Proven ability to understand account goals, needs, and pain points.
• Experience working collaboratively with field sales leadership and account teams.
• Strong focus on customer‑centric business models and strategic growth.
