Store Shift Lead – Part‑time Retail Position

About the role

Murphy USA is hiring part‑time Shift Leads to support store operations across its network of convenience stores. In this role you will ensure a smooth, courteous experience for customers while assisting the Store Manager in meeting performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service.
• Operate the cash register and handle fuel and merchandise transactions.
• Maintain product availability, a clean store, and a safe environment.
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations, including paperwork, inventory ordering, and equipment maintenance.
• Lead the team in achieving store performance targets and step in for management when needed.
• Train new employees and ensure compliance with plan‑ograms and store policies.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old (higher minimum ages in certain states).
• High school diploma/GED or at least 6 months related experience.
• Minimum 3 months cashier experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to bend, stand, reach repeatedly and lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
