Store Manager – NYC Pop‑Up (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a Store Manager to lead our temporary pop‑up location in New York City from August through January. The role is responsible for driving sales, managing the retail team, and ensuring operational excellence for the Beyond Yoga brand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the retail team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and financial plans.
• Analyze and act on performance metrics such as conversion, units per transaction, and sales per hour.
• Recruit, hire, train, and, when necessary, terminate store personnel at all levels.
• Manage employee relations, including coaching, conflict resolution, and adherence to operational policies.
• Oversee payroll planning, scheduling, and labor cost control based on store traffic and sales forecasts.
• Ensure accurate inventory receiving, sending, price changes, and ticketing while educating staff on loss‑prevention practices.
• Maintain compliance with Beyond Yoga and Levi Strauss & Co. operational excellence standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail store management with a strong decision‑making ability.
• Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and retaining talent.
• Ability to motivate teams, drive employee engagement, and foster a collaborative selling environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess KPIs and implement performance‑improvement plans.
• Experience managing payroll, scheduling, and inventory processes in a fast‑paced environment.
