About the role

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a passionate, people‑first Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales, and create an inclusive environment for teammates and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring visual standards, cleanliness, safety, and organized merchandising.
• Lead the interview and hiring process to build a diverse, high‑performing team.
• Analyze sales data and customer trends to increase profitability while controlling expenses and workforce budgeting.
• Drive shrink reduction through compliance with loss‑prevention, safety, and cash‑handling procedures.
• Engage with the local community, building relationships with leaders and supporting community initiatives.
• Coach, develop, and mentor team members, fostering a trust‑based, inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of Retail Store Manager experience or 5 years of related management/customer‑focused experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent people‑management skills with a talent‑development focus.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
