Store Designer – Hybrid (Manhattan, NY)

About the role

We are looking for a Store Designer to join our Global Store Design team, creating on‑brand retail environments across international markets. Based in Manhattan, NY, this hybrid role blends creative design with practical execution, ensuring each store meets brand standards while complying with local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop floor plans, storefront elevations, 3D models, renderings, and other design materials while adhering to brand strategy.
• Demonstrate business knowledge and stay current with design trends.
• Direct, manage, and partner with third‑party consultants to complete design packages.
• Review drawing sets for adherence to design standards and accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure project completion within schedule and budget.
• Respond quickly to changing business conditions, new prototypes, or material developments.
• Prepare presentation materials and deliver internal presentations to cross‑functional teams.
• Partner with construction, purchasing, visual merchandising, and store operations to deliver functional, on‑brand designs.
• Advocate for design integrity and review/approve shop drawings as needed.
• Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues impacting schedule, cost, or design integrity.
• Manage multiple projects at varying phases of their life cycle simultaneously.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 3‑5 years of design experience on retail projects, with international experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and review drawings.
• Maintain knowledge of new materials and design techniques through industry publications.
• Highly organized, strong communicator, and agile to respond to change and feedback.
