Stock Associate

About the role

The Stock Associate supports the store by receiving, unpacking, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor while maintaining a clean, organized stockroom. This position ensures that inventory is ready for customers and that store standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Receive shipments, unpack merchandise, and report any discrepancies to management.
• Prepare items by steaming, folding, hanging, or tagging as needed.
• Move new goods to the sales floor and replenish stockroom inventory throughout the day.
• Execute transfers, returns to vendor (RTVs), manage damaged items, and process customer charge‑backs.
• Maintain a tidy, organized stockroom and ensure merchandise is floor‑ready.
• Participate in inventory counts, store meetings, and other scheduled functions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift over 30 lb, stand for eight‑hour shifts, and perform frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
• Strong punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to company policies.
