Steward/Dishwasher

About the role

The Steward/Dishwasher supports the Food & Beverage Culinary Department at Discovery Land Company’s Atlantic Fields location. You will ensure kitchens and back‑of‑house areas remain spotless, hygienic, and ready for service, contributing directly to the high‑quality experience expected by members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain immaculate cleanliness of all food preparation and service areas, following strict sanitation standards.
• Set up, service, and break down kitchen stations for events, ensuring equipment is organized and functional.
• Manage waste removal, garbage controls, and linen handling, including laundry coordination.
• Assist with inventory control of catering equipment, plateware, and cleaning supplies.
• Support culinary staff with side work, equipment movement, and any additional cleaning tasks as needed.

Required profile

• At least three months of guest‑service experience in a high‑end restaurant, resort, private club, or hotel.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 lb for extended periods.

Required skills

• Knowledge of commercial cleaning products and proper stocking procedures.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
