Statewide Linkage and Retention Manager

About the role

The Statewide Linkage and Retention Manager leads the development and execution of training, linkage, and retention strategies for the Georgia Department of Public Health. This grant‑funded position supports HIV prevention and perinatal health initiatives across all 18 health districts.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate functional and technical training strategies for the agency.
• Ensure end‑to‑end learning standards and oversee training outcomes.
• Design, develop, and deliver training programs as needed.
• Supervise the HIV Perinatal Coordinator, Statewide Assistance Linkage Coordinator, and other linkage staff.
• Facilitate resource linkages for mothers and infants affected by HIV.
• Monitor contracts and develop budgets for HIV prevention linkage activities.
• Create and maintain a statewide linkage protocol and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public‑health program management, especially HIV prevention.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Experience managing grant‑funded projects and budgets.
• Ability to develop and implement training and linkage protocols statewide.
