Staff Technical Program Manager, AI & Data

About the role

The Data & AI team is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead strategic, cross‑functional AI and data initiatives. You will act as the connective tissue between product, platform and infrastructure groups, turning ambiguous technical concepts into clear delivery plans.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery for strategic Data & AI programs spanning product, platform and internal initiatives, from scoping through launch and post‑launch health.
• Create and maintain technical schedules, priorities and execution plans across multiple workstreams that cross organizational boundaries.
• Drive cross‑functional programs internally and with external partners or vendors.
• Partner with Data Engineering, ML/AI, Analytics, Platform and Product teams to align on scope, sequencing and trade‑offs.
• Identify programmatic and technical risks early (data quality, model readiness, infrastructure scaling) and lead mitigation.
• Ensure technical designs for data pipelines, platforms and AI/ML systems are evaluated for feasibility, scalability and quality.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, surface dependencies and risks proactively, and provide executive‑level status updates.
• Lead continuous improvement of planning, tracking and delivery processes for Data & AI programs.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead complex technical programs with indirect leadership and high initiative.
• Strong judgment in translating ambiguous AI/Data concepts into actionable plans.
• Experience coordinating product‑focused, platform‑focused and internal‑facing projects, often simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership across engineering, data science and product domains.
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate technical risks related to data quality, model readiness and infrastructure scaling.
