Staff Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Tax Accountant to prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for a diverse client base. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver high‑quality tax services while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other entity tax returns using tax software.
• Organize and review client financial information for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct tax research and apply relevant tax laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Identify tax‑saving opportunities and compliance issues through analysis of financial statements.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, answer inquiries, and explain tax concepts.
• Maintain organized tax files and ensure timely filing in accordance with deadlines.
• Support senior staff on complex projects, audits, and specialized tax services.
• Participate in internal training to stay current on industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant tax preparation experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin.
• Working towards CPA or Enrolled Agent licensure (or already licensed).
