Staff+ Software Engineer, Platform Ecosystem

About the role

Anthropic is seeking an experienced software engineer to join its Platform Ecosystem team. This founding team builds the commercial and vertical capabilities that enable businesses to adopt Claude safely and at scale, driving AI transformation across high‑impact sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 0 → 1 product initiatives from concept through delivery, collaborating with product, design, research, and forward‑deployed engineers.
• Develop vertical solutions for emerging API markets such as life sciences and healthcare, creating integrations and workflows that meet industry needs.
• Design and operate monetization systems that turn Claude into a revenue‑generating platform, including pricing, packaging, and sales controls.
• Navigate unfamiliar domains quickly, translate market requirements into high‑quality shipped products.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of hands‑on experience as a backend or platform engineer, with some frontend exposure.
• Strong product sense and ability to work cross‑functionally to shape strategy in new domains.
• Familiarity with using AI tools within the software development workflow.
• Passion for building platform solutions that enable safe, scalable AI adoption.
