About the role

Casca is building AGI for banking, replacing legacy systems with AI‑native technology that automates most manual work. As a Staff Software Engineer you will shape the platform’s architecture while delivering high‑quality code.

Key responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions that balance long‑term stability with the rapid pace of a fast‑growing banking platform.
• Lead the development of complex initiatives, chunking work to maximize parallelization and ensure timely production releases.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering engineering best practices and technical alignment.
• Build SaaS applications that balance complexity, quality, and delivery speed, focusing on customer value.
• Lead initiatives to improve system reliability, predictability, and compliance using data‑driven prioritization.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering significant projects in fast‑paced SaaS environments.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, make high‑stakes technical calls, and balance quality with rapid delivery.
• Quality‑first mindset with a bias for action and strong architectural judgment.
• Experience designing for security, reliability, and compliance, especially in regulated industries (nice‑to‑have).
• Strategic problem‑solving skills to translate business goals into technical solutions.
