Staff Software Engineer – iOS

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a seasoned iOS engineer to join the Claude mobile product team. You will help create elegant, user‑friendly iOS applications that bring advanced language models to consumers, working closely with researchers, designers, and product partners.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build cutting‑edge iOS applications from concept to production.
• Develop novel solutions that integrate AI and machine‑learning capabilities.
• Optimize performance across the entire mobile stack.
• Champion best practices, code quality, and a meticulous user experience.
• Collaborate with backend teams and contribute to server‑side components when needed.

Required profile

• Proven track record of shipping high‑adoption iOS apps.
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
• Experience building products in early‑stage, 0‑to‑1 settings is a plus.

Required skills

• Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and core iOS frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of the latest iOS platform capabilities.
• Full‑stack development experience and familiarity with backend technologies.
• Experience with AI/ML integration, 3D graphics, visual effects, and audio/video streaming.
