Staff Software Engineer, Enterprise Platform

About the role

Join Replit's Enterprise Platform team to build the infrastructure foundations that enable large organizations to run Replit within their security and compliance boundaries. You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and enterprise requirements, partnering with Platform Engineering, Security, and Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement single‑tenant and dedicated deployment options for enterprise customers.
• Build private networking capabilities such as VPC peering, private connectivity, and static IP configurations.
• Develop authorization services that enforce custom enterprise policies and integrate with existing identity systems.
• Implement data protection features including BYOK encryption, customer‑managed keys, and data residency controls.
• Create Terraform modules and automation for reliable, repeatable enterprise deployments.
• Debug and harden complex infrastructure problems across networking, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to scope solutions and unblock deployments.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Go, TypeScript or Python with a focus on high‑quality, well‑tested code.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and cloud‑native technologies in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPCs, peering, load balancers, DNS).
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools, especially Terraform.
