About the role

OnTrac is looking for a highly skilled Staff Security Platform Engineer (IC5) to join a contractor program supporting a critical customer engagement. The role focuses on backend integrations and policy platform use cases, working closely with the customer’s tech lead and delivery team.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and integrations in Golang, interfacing with MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS-hosted services.
Own technical design for assigned integrations from definition through delivery and document decisions for stakeholders.
Provide technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship to the Senior Security Platform Engineer (IC4) on the engagement.

Required profile

Proven hands‑on experience building backend services and integrations using Golang.
Strong experience with MongoDB data modeling and query design.
Experience loading data into Snowflake and querying it from backend systems.
Solid background building and operating services on AWS.
